PUBLIC HEARING: The following notice was published:

   Notice is hereby given that the City Council for the City of Buena Vista will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 19, 2009, at 6:00 PM or shortly thereafter to receive public comment on the following:

  • The City is considering installing a traffic signal at the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and 10th Street.

   The City is considering using VDOT Urban Construction Funds.

   The hearing will be open to the public. Any person desiring to be heard will be given the opportunity to present oral or written testimony within reasonable time limits as determined by the City Council.
The Hearing will be held in the Council Chambers located within the Municipal Building, 2039 Sycamore Avenue.  Please direct all questions regarding this matter to Tim Dudley, City Manager’s office, 261-8601.

RECOGNITION/COMMUNICATION FROM VISITORS: Citizens who desire to speak on matters not listed on the agenda will be heard at this time. Citizens who desire to speak on the Agenda will be heard when the agenda item is considered.
