Building Permits - Fee Schedule
COMMERCIAL	RESIDENTIAL
FEE SCHEDULE Total value equal to or less than $1,000,000 (one-million) = 0.60% of value Total value over $1,000,000 (one-million) = $6,000 + 0.75% of value over $1,000,000 Minimum fee = $100.00 All trade contractors shall obtain their individual trade building permits.  Documents establishing the construction value SHALL be provided as part of the permit application. PLAN REVIEWS The City contracts with an outside firm for all Commercial Plan Reviews. The plan review fee is the total of the outside firm's charge plus $50.00 administrative fee. All Commercial Plans SHALL be reviewed.	PLAN REVIEWS Required Residential Plan Reviews SHALL be done at the discretion of the Building Official based upon complexity of the building.  If plan reviews are required, the Commercial Plan policy SHALL apply.
DEFINITION OF "COMMERCIAL" COMMERCIAL:  Commercial projects SHALL be defined as any structure and / or building used for a business / commercial / industrial usage and are income producing.	DEFINITION OF "RESIDENTIAL" RESIDENTIAL:  Residential projects SHALL be defined as any structure and / or building which SHALL be used for a single family and / or group of individuals as their dwelling space.  Structures which are income producing SHALL be defined as COMMERCIAL.
