The Constitution of Virginia established the Commissioner of the Revenue to
serve as the chief assessing officer of a locality. The Commissioner
is elected every 4 years. The next election of this office will be in
2009.
The Commissioner's office is open
Monday - Friday 8:30 - 4:30pm.
