• Sometime between 6:00 pm March 24, 2009 and 7:00 am on March 24, 2009 unknown person(s) entered the bus lot at 1565 Woodland Avenue and punctured the tires on 11 school busses. Several of the tires were cut all the way flattening them on the spot. Others were cut just deep enough to allow the busses to move. It was fortunate that there were no children injured in this case. • It was reported to the BVPD that sometime on 6/7/09 Break Time had been broken into. Cigarettes and other items were taken from the store. Anyone that has information on this should contact the Police Department.

• On 10/18/09, a juvenile female reported she was attacked by 2 black males. One was wearing dark jeans and a black fleece zip sweatshirt. Their faces were covered with bandanas, but the victim said she could see their beards. The men took items from the female and ran on foot towards the Blue Ridge Baptist Church, going through the alley.

• Several items have been taken out of vehicles throughout the year. The BVPD reminds you to lock your vehicle.
