• On Thursday, March 8th 2007 some time after dark, unknown person(s) entered the “Auto Recyclers” building, the old “Reeves Brothers” factory, and used a forklift to damage two vehicles that were being used by construction crews. There was other damage that occurred as well but, the vehicles suffered the most damage. One was punctured by the forks and the other was overturned during the crime. Quite possibly the perpetrator(s) may be bragging about the incident so…If you have ANY information please contact us.

• On 06/12/06 a .380 cal. pistol and a stun gun were stolen from a citizen’s vehicle.

• On 05/04/06 @ 1:10 pm two black male entered Buena Vista Hardware on Magnolia Ave,  While in the store one or both gained access to the accounting room.  Once in there they took $906.00 and a Davis semi-auto pistol.  The two males were observed leaving out the back door of the business.

• On 08/15/06 two air powered roofing nail guns were stolen from a 1986 Ford truck.

• 02/02/06 two JVC oversized amps, two 8” sub woofers (in a box), an XM radio, and an MTX crossover, were stolen from a vehicle that was parked in the lot of J & S auto.

• On 01/04/06 SVU security reported that a student’s dorm room had been broken into during the holiday break. Items that were stolen include a Fuji digital camera, women’s clothing, a portable air conditioner, and jewelry.
