• There has been an increase of vandalism involving spray painted graffiti.  The number 368 are being painted on items throughout the city.  Anyone with information please contact the police department or use the anonymous report link.

• Sometime between 6:00 pm March 24, 2009 and 7:00 am on March 24, 2009 unknown person(s) entered the bus lot at 1565 Woodland Avenue and punctured the tires on 11 school busses. Several of the tires were cut all the way flattening them on the spot. Others were cut just deep enough to allow the busses to move. It was fortunate that there were no children injured in this case. • During the night of August 15, 2008 a number of vehicles were vandalized. Apparently some unknown person(s) traveled the roads from Enderly to 29th street marketing vehicles with a paint pen. Fortunately the paint was the type used to mark vehicles for sale and in most cases washed right off. However, some vehicles reported scratches and other minor damage. One vehicle was actually broken into and a wallet with cash and credit cards were removed. In total there were more than 60 vehicles vandalized.
