Revisions to Buena Vista Land Regulations
CITY OF BUENA VISTA
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Buena Vista City Council and
Planning Commission will hold a joint public hearing on Thursday
November 1, 2007, at 5:00 PM or shortly thereafter to receive public
comment on the following:

1) Amend the 1604.02 Parking
Parking space requirements for any use may be provided for off-site.
All parking lots and structures shall conform to Section 703 and
Appendix E of the Buena Vista Land Development Regulations.

Parking space requirements for any use may be provided for off-site.
All parking lots and structures shall conform to Section 703 of the
Buena Vista Land Development Regulations, except; all lots
fronting on the west side of Beech Avenue from the intersection of
Beech Avenue and 29th Street to the intersection of Beech
Avenue and Ivy Avenue shall conform to 703.00 of the Buena Vista
Land Use Regulations.

2) Request by R. Scott Sayre for the City of Buena Vista to vacate
the alley behind the Sayre Factory Store and Ivy Avenue, The alley
runs between Mr. Sayre lots 9 and 14 and the alley also runs between
Mr. Sayre’s lots 5 through 9, on the East side and lots 15 through
19 on the West side and then through lots owned by Robert Thomas and
the Buena Vista Police Department lots and terminates on Park Avenue
The Hearings will be held in the Council Chambers
located within the Municipal Building, 2039 Sycamore Avenue. Any
questions regarding this matter should be directed to Robert Luke,
Planning and Zoning, 261-3164.
The Planning Commission may convene in separate
quarters after the public hearing (s) to discuss this issue or
issues and bring back a recommendation to the City Council if it is
their wishes. The public is invited to attend if this special
meeting is called by the Chairman of the Planning Commission, or in
his absence, the Vice-Chairman.
A copy of the applications are on file in the
City Planner's Office, 2039 Sycamore Avenue, and is available for
review from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday. |
