Notice is hereby given that the
Buena Vista City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday,
May 20, 2008, at 5:00 PM or shortly thereafter to receive public
comment on the following:
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT REQUEST: A
request by Don Owens to construct and operate an indoor mini
golf course at 2076 Magnolia Ave (Wayne
Huffman-owner-34-1-2-27-15 & 15). The BV Land Use Regulations
require a conditional use permit (608.03 & 608.03-2) be granted
before such may begin. The building will also contain a sporting
goods store which is a permitted use in the (B-1) General
Business District
The
Hearings will be held in the Council Chambers located within the
Municipal Building, 2039 Sycamore Avenue. Any questions
regarding this matter should be directed to Robert Luke,
Planning and Zoning, 261-8607.
A copy
of the application is on file in the City Planner's Office, 2039
Sycamore Avenue, and is available for review from 8:30 AM to
5:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
The
City Council will also call a special meeting on the 20th
of May, 2008 to take action on the above advertised public
hearing following this public hearing and a budget meeting. To
be held immediately following the public hearing and budget
meeting as advertised above.
