All motor vehicles garaged within the City are required to have a City of Buena Vista decal affixed to the front windshield. The decal fee varies based on type of vehicle.  Decals are sold each year between February 1 and March 1. Decals must be affixed to the front windshield by March 1 to avoid being cited for a violation by the Police Department.

   All personal property taxes on the vehicle must be paid in full before a vehicle decal will be issued.
