| Water and Sewer Billing
All residential and commercial customers are
billed monthly. Bills are generally mailed the first week of each month. Bills are
computed based upon actual usage. We attempt to read meters on or about
the same day of the month making for a consistent number of days usage
on each invoice. Each meter is read via handheld computer to
ensure accuracy. We do not estimate readings unless it is shown
that a meter is faulty and has stopped working.
Any account showing a past-due
balance equal to or greater than $24.00 at the end of the month will
receive a disconnect notice. Customers' who are disconnected for
non-payment must pay a $10.00 reconnection fee and will be subject to
paying a security deposit before services are restored.
Buena Vista offers discounts on
water, sewer, and trash for the Elderly and Disabled. Restrictions
apply. Please call the Utility Billing office for details.
